Actual Day Bridal Photographers In Singapore – Reviews & Prices

Here is a review and price list of some of the more popular wedding photographers in Singapore.

1. 36 Frames – They have 3 packages for their actual day wedding photography package. They have a one hour, three hour as well as a eight hour photography package for couples looking to have their actual wedding ceremony photographed in Singapore. As such their prices are $320, $1180 and $2280 respectively. In my opinion, this is slightly steep compared to the quality of the photographs that you receive if you were to order your package with them. In my opinion, they would be a 3.9 out of 5.

2. Tiny Dot Photography – Be prepared for this, as their wedding photography package is significantly MORE expensive than everyone else on this list. At $3700 and $4500 for an eight hour and ten hour photography session, Yu Hsin (photographer at Tiny Dot Photography) is clearly among the higher tiers in terms of prices for actual day wedding photoshoots. It is however partly because of a 40 page, 12” x 12” Shashin Photobook which is included in the package. In my opinion though, the prices are really a little too steep, because even after deducting an assumed $400 for the book, it is still around $3300 to $4000 for an actual day wedding photographer. In my opinion, if their prices were not so high, they will get a 4.1, but as of now, a 3.9 out of 5.

3. Grandeur Wedding Studio – With such amazing photographs from their portfolio, it’s amazing how their prices are definitely still on the friendly end here, at only $1899 for a 10 hour photoshoot, and a $1399 for a five hour photoshoot. At those prices, their photos definitely are very good value for money. I would encourage you to try them out if you’re more budget conscious and would still like wedding photographs of amazing quality. In my opinion, I would rate them 4.5 out of 5. Check them out here:

4. Edmund Photo –  This is a cheaper option for couples who do not have the spare financial capacity for their actual day wedding photography budget. At only $1688 for a full day package, I think in terms of pricing, they are definitely a 5 out of 5. However, the only shame is that I think their wedding photos are not THAT amazing, so in total, I would rate them a 4.3 out of 5.

5. A Little Moment Photography – To the best of my knowledge (please correct me if I am wrong), they only have 1 type of package for their actual day photography, and that is a $2200 package for 10 hours. Couples who are looking to have a full day photography coverage can look at them. Those couples with only a half day ceremony (e.g. only wedding day lunch or dinner banquet) should not look at them as they do not offer a shorter package. I would think that their wedding photos are of good quality, and that their prices are still reasonable. In my opinion, they deserve a solid 4.4 out of 5.

The 5 Best Wedding Photoshoot Locations In Singapore

In my humble opinion, these are the 5 absolutely stunning places in Singapore in which you and your fiance should definitely have your photoshoot in Singapore.

First place you must go to would be the cliche but absolutely amazing looking Helix Bridge. This place looks best at night, hence make sure to go here only for your night shots. In fact, Helix Bridge (next to Marina Bay Sands) looks very plain in the day time. However, it transforms into a magically lit bridge at night, making it a perfect location for wedding photos to be taken at. Also, with Singapore’s skyline of Fullerton hotel e.t.c. in the background, Helix Bridge is a truly magical location for wedding photography at night.

Second place you must go to (in the daytime) would either be Tuas Lallang Fields or Punggol Lallang fields. Both of these lallang fields look similar, but they look out of the world. In fact, when you engage a great wedding photographer for your shoot at either of these two locations (just pick one of them, as they look highly similar), you will look like you’re in an endless field of lallang and that you and your fiance are the only people in the world.

Third place I feel that you should go to in Singapore, is the Fullerton Bay Hotel. Not to be confused with Fullerton Hotel, the Fullerton Bay Hotel is right opposite Fullerton Hotel. The lobby is a wonderful location in which you can have your wedding photoshoot at. Additionally, the human traffic in that location is usually low, making it a tremendous photoshoot location for wedding events or just a pre wedding photoshoot.

Fourth place I recommend is Upper Seletar Reservoir. I find photographs taken at Upper Seletar Reservoir looking very serene and pretty, and that it feels magical. This is one of the most inconvenient places to go to among my five recommendations (other than Tuas or Punggol Lallang fields), so make sure to go only if you have transport to go there (which you should charter).

Finally, last but not least, I certainly recommend you go to the famous Hort Park. The Botanic Gardens of Singapore is more well known, but Hort Park looks that much more beautiful.

Alright, so there you go – five top photography locations in Singapore for your wedding or pre wedding photoshoot. If you need recommendation on a photographer instead, here’s a famous local wedding photographer in Singapore you should engage.

Is There A ‘Best’ Wedding Photographer In Singapore?

Every couple and bride wants to find that perfect bridal photographer in Singapore. However, does such a ‘perfect’ photographer exist? Or are couples looking for a unicorn?

In my opinion, there is no fully rounded photographer. Some photographers are excellent at shooting candid shots, and hence do very well for actual day photography. However, they may not be as ‘great’ (though still above average) for pre wedding photoshoots.

If you must pick the best from each category (wedding day and pre/post wedding photography), here are my honest recommendations and reviews of photographers in Singapore.

Review of actual day photographers / photography studios:

1. Bloc Memoire – 4.7 stars

They have 3 main photographers on their team, namely Guan and 2 others. In my opinion, they’re the best in Singapore for actual day wedding photoshoots. If you check out their portfolio, their wedding photographs for actual day shoots is really amazing looking. I believe the reason for this is because their photographers are all very experienced at candid photo shoots – which is very important for actual day wedding photography.

2. Mindy Tan – 4.6 stars

Followed closely behind is Mindy Tan. A single photographer, Mindy Tan is getting increasingly popular. In my opinion, her photographs do not have that amazing effect, but it’s fantastic for couples who just want good wedding day photography without too much ‘editing’. I personally like more editing, but as many couples in Singapore also like ‘normal’ photos, I have decided to rate Mindy 0.1 star more than I would normally have.

3. Grandeur Wedding Studio ( – 4.5 stars

Offering both pre wedding and actual day wedding photography, I rated Grandeur 4.5 stars instead of 4.7 or 4.8 simply because they seem to have fewer actual day shots on their portfolio than their pre wedding shoots (described below as the top pre wedding photographer in Singapore).

Review of pre wedding photographers / photography studios:

1. Grandeur Wedding Studio – 4.9 stars

One of the very top photography studios in Singapore, I am always in awe whenever I look at their wedding photos. (Please check out the link above if you want to check out their portfolio/website address.) Hands down, the top photographer in Singapore. I don’t even have to say much, they’re that good. Just take a look at their photography.

2. Nat Studios – 4.5 stars

Although Nat Studios is more popular as a overseas / destination photographer, they also take some pre wedding photos in Singapore. I think their real specialty is in overseas / destination wedding photography though, so keep that in mind.

3. Bloc Memoire – 4.4 stars

Bloc Memoire, also mentioned above is in my opinion the 3rd best photographer in Singapore for pre wedding photoshoots. Somehow, their actual wedding day photos seem to appeal to me more. Each person may think differently, but that’s just my opinion.
