An American favorite for his award-winning role in the hit TV series House, the versatile British actor Hugh Laurie showcased his musical side last March in New Orleans with a crack band and a songlist of classic blues and jazz. Released on CD in April, and aired nationally in September as a PBS Great Performances special, Let Them Talk: A Celebration of New Orleans Bluesis Laurie’s very personal–and finely-wrought–journey into the heart and soul of an extraordinary, timeless musical tradition.

The Shedd Institute is pleased to present Mr. Laurie and Let Them Talk live, in the intimacy of the Jaqua Concert hall for one very special evening.
